When having a template workspace with smartlists and having instance workspaces, there is an instance of the templated smartlist (with the same code as template smartlist).

When a user changes the view of a smartlist in one of those smartlists, this view is applied for all instance smartlists in all instance workspaces. The view is personal, i.e. only for that user.

The view only pertains to:
– view type
– columns
– column order

The additional filter and sorting are not part of the view so that user can have a different filter per workspace instance smartlist.
