Hi there! We've worked hard for you in this Ravioli release. Here are some highlights of our work in the last 10 weeks.
Share smartlists only with assigned usergroups of a user (32430)
The label of the existing application area "Main: Share item filters" is adjusted to "Main: Share item filters with everyone"
A new application area is added: "Main: Share item filters with peers"
Concerning usergroups: only "custom" can be selected (existing functionality).
Smartlist sharing options are depending on the role privileges granted per individual user.
If the user can execute: Main: Share item filters with everyone (existing functionality)
The user is able to share the smartlist with:
Everyone (linked to the workspace)
All organization units
If the user can execute: Main: Share item filters with peers
All users of "his" organisation unit. The user must be assigned to an organization unit ( = his team ) AND all users linked to the his assigned usergroups linked to the related workspaces of the smartlist ( = his equals ).
Only members of his organization unit. The user must be assigned to an organization unit ( = his team ).
His assigned usergroups linked to the related workspaces of the smartlist ( = his equals ).
The user will not be able to share the smartlist with everyone!
If the related workspaces can't be determined (ex: no list criteria or shown on is defined), then no usergroups and usergroup members are available.
Definition: linked to the related workspaces of the smartlist
the smartlist is defined within a workspace -> the workspace
the smartlist is defined on the dashboard level -> the workspaces retrieved from the list criteria defined in "contains items from".
If the user has no sharing smartlist executing role (existing functionality)
The user is not able to share smartlists
Additional configuration adaptation is required to share smartlists only with peers.
The configurator must assign the appropriate application area role to the designated usergroups.
Translator role (32494)
The admin can now provide translator capabilities to users without giving them access to system configuration area. These end users can then translate labels in the product for everything he has access to.
Simulation of add-in installation (32481)
When you install an add-in the product now verifies the configuration changes before the add-in is actually installed.
More user friendly pivot table url (32495)
Instead of /pages/pivottable.aspx?... it is now possible to use /pivottable/ or /pivottable//data.
Limit application per workspace configuration: Filtered pickers (32309)
You can now limit the application per workspace. The user will only see applications defined for the specific workspace.
Performance improvement large data (32560)
Overall speed of TenForce on a large database has been increased by 398%.
Health check call for load balancers and automated monitors (32337)
Implemented health check URL to monitor server and it's services.
Health check URL is /statuscheck
Uses HTTP GET request, doesn't require authentication.
In case of failed check it returns HTTP 500 code.
In case of successful check it returns HTTP 200 code.
