Dual Closure Responsibility System for Incident Management

This feature establishes a Dual Closure Responsibility System to ensure incidents are not closed without encouraging shared accountability between Action Users and Reviewers.
Action Holders can propose action closure after implementing corrective actions or preventive actions, and reviewers will then be able to review and approve the closure, ensuring all corrective and preventive measures are complete, and the incident has been fully addressed. This system promotes operational efficiency, high safety standards, and regulatory compliance.

Introduces:

  • Reviewer field on actions:
    • Reviewers are the action creator, unless the action holders selects another user to perform the review.
  • In-line attachment field for supporting documentation on actions;
  • Flow controls for actions based on action criticality:
    • Critical and high priority actions must be submitted for review;
    • Medium and low priority actions can be submitted for review, but can also be closed without review – at the discretion of the action holder.
  • A new status for actions when sent for review: “Ready for review”.
