List configurators can now set a default display type for lists that contain the 'display type' field. When display types are already defined:

• Open the list customize page
• Add the 'display type' (standard) field under category 'Tracking & Tracing' to the list
• Select a default display type value

Newly created items will have the default display type applied automatically.
